John Armstrong
John holds the position of Chief Financial Officer of SEEK. John has overall responsibility for all of SEEK's day-to-day business operations, ensuring the necessary operational and financial processes and infrastructure are in place and aligned with SEEK's strategies and continued rapid growth. He has responsibility for the financial, administration and customer service teams.
John has over 12 years experience in various financial and commercial management roles. Prior to SEEK, John worked with Ernst & Young, Blackwoods and Fosters Brewing Group. John has a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting from Monash University, and is a member of CPA Australia.
Andrew Bassat
Andrew is the Joint CEO and co-founder of SEEK and leads the Strategy and Business development team. He is responsible for overall strategic direction, progress of expansion opportunities, acquisitions, strategic alliances with key partners and online marketing. Andrew is also responsible for SEEK Learning.
Prior to co-founding SEEK, Andrew was a management consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton where he was involved in a wide range of strategic assignments for major Australian and international corporations and prior to that worked as a solicitor at Corrs Chamber Westgarth. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) degree from the University of Melbourne, a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from Monash University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Melbourne Business School.
Anthony Böhm
Anthony brings extensive experience in the private education sector having worked in senior executive positions in Australia and the UK.
Prior to joining Think: Education Group, Anthony was Vice President within Kaplan International - one of the world’s largest private education companies. Initially based in London, Anthony led the successful launch of Kaplan International Colleges in the UK. Anthony was also involved in the identification and analysis of investment opportunities for the company in Europe, Australia, China and India. In 2005, Anthony returned to Australia to spearhead Kaplan’s development activities in the region.
Prior to joining Kaplan, Anthony spent several years as a senior executive with IDP Education Australia based in Sydney. IDP Education Australia is a world-leader in international student recruitment with operations in over 40 countries.
Peter Everingham
Peter Everingham is the Managing Director of SEEK Learning where he is responsible for leading & managing the direction, priorities and operational execution across functions, including Sales, Marketing and Business Development. Prior to SEEK, Peter was Director of Corporate Strategy for Yahoo! in Australia and South Asia where he guided business strategy, identified expansion initiatives, and negotiated major partnerships and investments.
He also has experience across the extremes of co-founding and running an internet start-up to working within the heavy-industry corporates of Dyno Wesfarmers and Pioneer International on corporate finance and expansion. Peter has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and an MBA from IESE.
Michael Ilczynski
Michael is responsible for strategy & corporate development for SEEK in all areas related to Education & Training. Michael is responsible for developing the detailed strategy for SEEK Learning and for SEEK's investments into the Education industry, and for executing appropriate acquisition, investment and alliance opportunities. As part of this role, Michael is a Director of IDP Education Pty Ltd and Amadeus Education Pty Ltd.
Prior to working at SEEK, Michael has worked for McKinsey & Company, Tabcorp and the Collingwood Football Club. Michael also served in the Australian Army Ready Reserve as an infantry platoon commander and is a graduate of the Royal Military College, Duntroon. Michael holds Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from Melbourne University and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University
Mark Rohald
Mark was previously an academic and lecturer in Economics at a leading University. He founded a number of private education institutions, and has served on the Board of no less than 18 education businesses.
Mark served as an Executive Director of Educor, a multinational education organization servicing 300,000 students on a daily basis. Educor was listed on the Johannesburg and Nasdaq stock exchanges, and Mark held the position of Head of Education for their global operations.
Whilst in the UK, Mark pioneered the concept of online international student recruitment. He has worked in an executive capacity in the education sector in South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia. His community involvement includes serving as a member of the board of aleading private Sydney school.
