William Blue Alumnus wins Korea Masterchef 2014
A big congratulations goes out to William Blue College of Hospitality Management graduate Gwangho Choi, who won Korea Masterchef Season 3 last Saturday, 2 August 2014.
Gwangho attended the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management (Commercial Cookery Pathway), graduating in July 2012. All our lecturers and graduates who had the pleasure of working with Gwangho, have been so excited about the news, “We are extremely proud that one of our Alumni has been recognised for their cooking ability” said Quinton Herbert, Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Program Manager of William Blue.
Quinton continued, “It has been wonderful seeing Gwangho, one of our past international students, soar to this level of success so early on in his career. His inspirational career journey started off when he came to Australia to study in 2010. He attended our 12 week English Preparation Program and successfully graduated equipped with the language skills he needed to really excel in his Commercial Cookery course”.
“We are so happy for Gwangho and we can see him reaching great heights in the future. He is a true talent and we are so proud to have been there helping him build the foundations to what will surely be an amazing career.”
