TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

The ‘Promotional Period’: Competition opens 08:00am AEST on Thursday 6 August 2015. Entry closes 23:59 AEST Monday 17 August 2015.
To enter, entrants must tell us in 25 words or less why they want to attend the Festival of Change (by commenting on Facebook) and they also must register to attend the event – general admission is free. Entries will only be accepted if participants complete BOTH of these entry requirements. The links for registration for the Festival of Change are different depending on the city the participants live in: Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane
Entrants must submit their email address and phone number when they register for the event, and by doing so agree to be contacted for arrangements for prize delivery to be made. Only one entry is permitted per person.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Entrants must be 16 or over and residing in Australia.
The prize is an Apple Watch Sport - 38mm Silver Aluminium Case, valued at A$499. Prize does not include AppleCare+. The prize will be purchased from the Apple Store.
There will be 3 prizes available to 3 winners - one from each city (Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane). The winners will be able to choose the colour of the Apple Watch Sport, pending stock availability from Apple.
The prize is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash.
The Promoter makes no express representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability/merchantability of the prize. The Promoter takes no responsibility in regard to the condition of the prize. The winner should look to the manufacturer or supplier for all warranties and claims which can be found on Apple's website.
This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on the content of their comment and the literary and creative merit of their post. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The judging for the competition will take place at Think Education, Level 24, 680 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000 at 10.00am AEST Tuesday 18 August 2015.
Winners will be notified by 15:00pm AEST Tuesday 18 August 2015 via the email address and/or phone number that was supplied when registering for the event. The winner will then need to select their chosen model of Apple Watch Sport up to the value of A$499 selected from the Apple Store and they will need to provide the Promoter with their preferred delivery address.
If the Promoter does not receive confirmation from the selected winners within 48 hours of them being notified, then the prize is considered to be forfeited and the promoter will award the prize to another valid entrant.
In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not accept the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, in connection with the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by laws. If the prize is sent in the mail via Australia Post, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for any prizes lost, stolen, damaged or tampered with in any way.
Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid and will be rejected. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify and remove any entry where it reasonably suspects that such entries are prohibited by these Terms and Conditions, any relevant law, or are otherwise deemed inappropriate. Entries that are considered unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive, contain objectionable content or are otherwise considered inappropriate will be deemed invalid and rejected. This is at the Promoter's absolute discretion and discussions will not be entered into. The Promoter, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to notify relevant authorities including law enforcement bodies and provide them with the objectionable entry and the participant's personal information. The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and personal details concerning the participants (including a participant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any participant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights under these terms and conditions at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
The information you are asked to provide to The Promoter is personal information and is protected by the Privacy Act 1988. The Promoter will not disclose this information to other parties other than in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. By entering the competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these rules.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Apple. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. The information an entrant provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter and not to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained by an entrant, as a result of participating in the promotion (including taking/use of a prize), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
