What is an Enrolled Nurse?
With a Diploma of Nursing, you’ll be qualified as an enrolled nurse. You’ll play an important role in promoting health and wellness while improving the quality of life and care for people in your community. Head of Nursing
Across an extensive career in clinical and academic sectors, Cheryl’s nursing fields have incorporated acute care sectors in medical surgical, paediatrics, ambulatory care, critical care, community, mental health, rural, palliative, theatre and midwifery. In addition, she has a strong leadership focus with management, industrial relations and executive nursing experience, meaning she can offer advice and education around a broad range of specific nursing careers. Her academic career has seen Cheryl recognised for leadership, innovation in pedagogy and mentorship, skills she brings to Torrens University.

Dean of Health and Education
A registered nurse for nearly 40 years, Cath has also worked as a health academic for three decades. Cath firmly believes that access to high-quality education is transformative and key to improving health outcomes for all. Cath’s research has focused on women’s health issues, resilience in the face of illness and the health workforce.
