Enrolled Nurse – Acute Nursing

Provide nursing care in acute settings such as the emergency department and intensive care units.

As an acute nurse, you will be involved in the treatment of patients who are diagnosed with short-term conditions through a range of healthcare settings such as accident and emergency, medical, surgical, or a range of specialist fields such as rural, intensive care and paediatric care. You will be called upon to treat a range of ailments from severe injuries to infectious diseases.

Provide nursing care in the community, from homes to shelters and clinics.

With a qualification in primary health care nursing, you can find work opportunities in facilities ranging from general practice, shelters and clinics to patient’s homes.
